Ms. Abhirami M. Patel (DIN: 01213255) aged 60 years has completed her schooling from J. B. Petit High School for Girls, Mumbai, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She was actively involved in AISEC, an international student organization that promotes leadership development and cross-cultural business exposure, with a focus on economics and marketing. She has completed a Correspondence Diploma in IATA – UFTAA – Geneva, which added an international dimension to her understanding of global business practices.
She is currently the sole proprietor of World Traveller, a travel solutions enterprise specializing in:
- Customized domestic and international holiday planning
- Organizing large-scale conferences and events for corporate clients and medical professionals
Through her business, Ms. Patel has developed a keen understanding of customer service excellence, financial planning, budgeting, and operational risk management. Her direct exposure to managing business finances, vendor negotiations, and compliance obligations provides her with the commercial insight and governance awareness that are valuable to a Non-Banking Financial Company.
Her entrepreneurial mindset, client-centric approach, and administrative capabilities will bring an independent perspective to the Board and contribute to enhancing the Company’s governance framework and strategic direction.
